Sir Winston Churchill Presentation
All Grade 9 students heard a presentation from Sir Winston Churchill staff today! Great follow up presentation from the school visit last week. As well, reviewed processes for Grade 10 transition - course registration; option selection; and verifying course selection.
*International Language Teachers visited at lunch and answered student questions!

Successful High School Tours!
Students enjoyed visiting Robert Thirsk and Sir Winston Churchill High Schools. Please visit the evening Open Houses between 6:00-8:00pm tonight.

Winston Churchill Trip Information
Due to the timing of our tour we are required to depart the school prior to normal hours. As such we are asking that all students going to Churchill be in the Gym prior to 8:15. Nolan Hill students are being directed to head directly into the gym after their bus arrives, without stopping at lockers and as such are being asked NOT to bring a bag.

A. Booked Student Progress Conferences - Thursday: 2:00-4:00pm and 5:00-8:00pm and Friday 1:30-5:30pm in the Gym.

Robert Thirsk Guidance Counsellors Visit
All Grade 9 students had an opportunity to hear from Robert Thirsk High School Guidance Counsellors today as well as two former students. Course selection, Grade 10 experiences, and upcoming important dates were shared.
Thursday, January 19 Students will attend a morning tour with peers. Evening tour is from 6:00-8:00pm. Please bring in forms for this field trip.
