Bowness High School Presentation

All Grade 9 students heard an informative presentation from Bowness High School Guidance Counsellors. As well, two current Bowness students shared their stories and high school experience. This is the first of many presentations to come from the high schools to inform students about Grade 10 transitions and procedures for registration. If you are thinking about high school transfers find our correct processes to follow. High school transfer deadline is March 15, 2017.

LEAD

Leadership Opportunity:

City of Calgary LEAD program, which happens in the school twice a week.

Program details:

Who: Youth in grades 7-9

What: LEAD is the City of Calgary’s youth leadership training and development program. This program consists of 9 leadership modules and a 20-hour volunteer practicum

Where: Upstairs Learning Commons (moving to stage starting December 13)

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:45. Last day will be December 15, then we will start up again January 17. This program does not run when there is no school.

Interested students see Homeroom Teachers.
